Our website allows businesses to showcase your business and connect you to the Ourblex community. By adding a business listing, you can:

Join the conversation with your customers

Respond to a review with a direct message or public comment.

Post photos and update business information

Upload photos, add a link to your website, and ensure that your hours are up to date so consumers searching for your business can easily find it.

View customer analytics

Track visitor engagement and customer leads from your Ourblex Dashboard.

Account Information

To change or add your business account profile photo

  1. Go to the Dashboard of your account
  2. Click Listings 
  3. Click on the three dots and select Edit Listing
  4. At the bottom of the listing form, there is a upload business logo option
  5. Click Upload Business Logo
  6. Select Your logo
  7. Click Update & Preview

To change or add your business account profile photo

  1. Go to the Dashboard of your account
  2. Click Listings
  3. Click on the three dots and select Edit Listing
  4. Change your listing title
  5. Click Update & Preview

Business accounts are connected to your personal account.

Log in to your personal account to access your Business Account dashboard.

If your business is undergoing ownership/management changes you may want to transfer your account.

Please contact our Support team to transfer your account.

Business Accounts are tied to personal accounts. The personal account email and password is used to access the business account.

To change the password on your user account

You will need to logged in to the site at www.ourblex.com or you can reset your password.

  1. Go to Update Profile.
  1. Enter New Password
  2. Enter Same Password in the “Repeat Password” field
  3. Click Update Profile

Business Accounts are tied to personal accounts. The personal account email and password is used to access the business account.

To change the email on your user account

You will need to logged in to the site at www.ourblex.com.

  1. Go to Update Profile.
  1. Enter the new email that you would like to use
  2. Click Update Profile

Updating your Business Page

To change, add or remove photos from your business gallery photos

  1. Go to the Dashboard of your account
  2. Click Listings
  3. Click on the three dots and select Edit Listing
  4. At the bottom of the listing form, there is a image upload option
  5. Click Browse Files
  6. Select up to 10 images for your media gallery
  7. Click Update & Preview

To change, add or remove photos from your business gallery photos

  3. Click on the three dots and select Edit Listing
  4. At the bottom of the listing form, there is a image upload option

If you have multiple businesses or locations, each of them should have a separate business page on Ourblex. We recommend that you change your plan to Enterprise plan as this plan includes 5 business listings for a discounted rate.

Keeping your list of services up to date helps our community understand exactly what your business offers and does not offer.

In addition to displaying this information on your business page for Ourblex users, Ourblex may use your service list to more accurately recommend your business in searches and during other user inquiries. This in turn should provide more qualified leads for your business.

The features section is currently only available for select business categories. If your business is in an eligible category, you will likely be prompted to add or edit the features. You may also check the Categories and Services section of your Business Information tab to see if you have any eligible services you may activate.

To update your category and features:

  1. Go to the Dashboard of your account
  2. Click Listings
  3. Click on the three dots and select Edit Listing
  4. Scroll until you locate the Category and Service tabs
  5. Select all of the services that apply to your Business
  6. Select the features that apply to your Business
  7. Click Update & Preview

You can submit updates to your hours of operation as frequently as necessary. If your business is closed for a short period of time and not providing takeout, delivery or virtual services, you can mark it as closed. If you mark your business as closed your business page may appear lower in search results, but you will still be able to fully access and update your business account.

To update your Business Hours:

  1. Go to the Dashboard of your account
  2. Click Listings
  3. Click on the three dots and select Edit Listing
  4. Scroll until you locate the Business Hours
  5. Change or Add your Business Hours
  6. Click Update & Preview

Managing Your Business with Ourblex

In short, yes! We are a community here at Ourblex. We recommend that your provide accurate information and reference a date when using your average star rating. Ourblex is an exclusive listing directory that customers can visit to check for the updated information and verify if the information is correct.

All Ourblex business listings come with access to our digital Ourblex Certification Badge. This Badge can be used in marketing materials for your business. To request badge please contact us.

The “Ourblex Certification Badge” window cling is included in our Business listing package and our Executive listing package. To request additional window clings, please contact us.

Ourblex users can send direct messages to businesses. The best way to respond to messages is from our website or your email address.

Responding from Ourblex:

  1. Go to the Dashboard of your account
  2. Click Inbox
  3. Type message to customer
  4. Click Send Message

From your email address

When you receive an email notification that a Ourblex user has messaged you for the first time, you can simply reply from the email. The customers contact information will be provided. Your email address is not shared with the Ourblex user.

We encourage you to encourage all of your customers to write honest reviews on your Business. The Ourblex platform was built for community engagement and bridging the gaps between the community and your Business. We discourage offering incentives for reviews as this can lead to a partial story that is unfair to consumers.

You can respond to your reviews with a Public Comment. We recommend starting with a Public Comment. Public Comments appear below the review and are visible to anyone looking at your page. A Public Comment shows your commitment to customer service.

Responding to a positive review is simple. Start with a Public Comment and give them a genuine, honest, personalized thanks.

For critical reviews, take a step back and look at the review as feedback. Every business has areas they can improve in. With that in mind, take a minute before you respond and collect your thoughts. It’ll take some of that edge out of what you write. We recommend that you start with a public comment. That way you get credit for your customer service. The next step is to take the high road. Your response represents your business.  Focus on learning, growing, and providing great customer service.

To respond to a review via Public Comment

  1. Go to the Reviews section of your business account
  2. Click RECEIVED at the top of the page
  3. Locate the review and click Public Reply
  4. Enter your text and click Send Reply
Public Replies cannot be edited or changed.

Ourblex Ads

No. We assign each search to a category and deliver ads relevant to that category. Our category-based system eliminates the need for advertisers to ensure that they have predicted all the keywords that a consumer might use, and aims to deliver ads whenever they are looking for a business like yours.

No. Other than giving advertisers ads, advertisers do not get any preferential treatment.

To advertise on Ourblex:

  1. Go to Ad Campaigns
  2. Click ADD NEW AD
  3. Fill out the Ad Campaign
  4. Select Payment Method and complete transaction

Your ads can be delivered in a variety of places on Ourblex’s websites, including on search result pages, business listing pages, and homepage.

Ourblex Ads are delivered when a user searches on Ourblex or clicks on a business or photo page. Ourblex uses a variety of factors to pick the most relevant ad for each user. These include — but aren’t limited to — how the category of the advertiser relates to what the user is searching for or looking at on Ourblex and the distance between the user and the advertiser.

There are a few features we use to show other relevant businesses to users on your page, all aimed at enhancing the user experience:

Advertisements

Ourblex has advertising programs that allow businesses to display their pages on search results and on related business pages. This is meant to enhance the user experience by suggesting relevant businesses that Ourblex’s users may not have previously considered. Ourblex Executive listing plan offers to remove competitor ads from your Ourblex business page.

Measuring Activity & Performance

User views can be tracked through your Business Dashboard.

To track your user views:

  1. Go to your Dashboard
  2. Click on More Insights under user views.
Customer leads include customer contacts, customer reactions  to comments, ratings, and website link clicked.

To track your customer leads:

  1. Go to your Dashboard
  2. Click on More Insights under customer leads.

User Views and Customer Leads are intended to help you understand the amount of exposure to and interest in your business.

User Views measures how many times your Ourblex page was accessed or viewed on the Ourblex website and mobile website. Customer Leads include customer contacts, customer ratings, comment reactions, clicks to your website,  and more.
